RHONCOPATHY AND APNEAS
In our center, diagnosis and treatment is carried out in conjunction with an interdisciplinary assessment that includes, in addition to our service, the sleep specialists of the Estivill clinic. Snoring affects 10% of the pediatric population, while obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAHS) is around 3%. The clinical repercussions can be reflected in cardiovascular alterations, behavioral alterations (attention deficit, hyperactivity, aggressiveness, irritability), neurocognitive alterations (memory, global intelligence and alterations in language acquisition...).
The most frequent cause of airway obstruction in children is adenotonsillar hypertrophy (an inherent and very frequent factor in children's anatomy).

Surgery that is performed easily and safely using new technologies: laser surgery, CO₂, radiofrequency... It is a surgery of approximately half an hour, which consists of the partial reduction of the tonsils and the removal of vegetations (adenoidectomy), using the most advanced methods that minimize both pain and intra and post-surgical complications.
