Comprehensive Nasal Surgery Unit (Morphological and Functional)
Our Comprehensive Nose Surgery Unit has been designed to accurately address complex nasal pathologies, where respiratory difficulty coexists with morphological alterations of aesthetic relevance. We specialize in providing accurate diagnoses and surgical treatments tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
Functional Approach: From the functional point of view, we perform an exhaustive endoscopic study to identify the underlying cause of nasal obstruction. In most cases, this obstruction is due to a combination of nasal septal deviation and hypertrophy of the inferior turbinates. Endoscopy allows us to rule out other possible causes, such as nasal polyposis, chronic sinusitis or abnormal formations. We complement this functional study with Rhinomanometry to measure air flows in both nostrils and, if necessary, we perform a nasosinusal CT scan to obtain a detailed image.
Morphological approach: From the morphological point of view, we carry out a preoperative photographic "book" to evaluate the patient's aesthetic concerns. This information allows us to offer customized morpho-functional solutions, adapted to the individual needs of each patient. Our goal is to improve both respiratory function and nasal aesthetics.
At the Comprehensive Nasal Surgery Unit, we are committed to providing individualized and precise care, ensuring that each patient receives the most appropriate treatment for their specific needs.
